LAST MEETING (September 29th)
President Mark Miller spoke to the club about our Lions
Club’s fundraising efforts for tornado/flood relief for

Each of the representatives spoke briefly about what the
funds would be used for, how important the donations are, and gave their
appreciation. President Miller also reported that Lions Hagarty and Mortensen
played an important role in the distribution of funds to victims. In addition
to this local effort, it was reported that the Lions International Foundation
also donated over $170,000 for flood and tornado relief in our area. The
program gave us many details related to our efforts with the recurring theme
that our motto “we serve” are not just words, but describe the action of our
club and Lions around the world.
