It was nice to see a full room and to welcome back some of our members
from there winter vacations. Lets
continue to fill the room! Please bring
a guest when you have that opportunity, when someone is ready to give back to
their community, the Lions is the place to be!

Target has been involved in food sales for about 15 years.
Previously they purchased from wholesalers but have recently begun distributing
from their own warehouses. Food production and distribution is now a corporate
strategy due to the increase in store traffic.
Distribution for the food products is different than the retail center
because quantities delivered is smaller, meaning a larger number of stores will
be served. For example, the new
Target is also a community advocate and is involved in
numerous charities such as the local Food Bank and National Night Out events.
