PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE (July 14th)

Fellow Lions, time for a little recap of our relief efforts around Iowa. To date we have raised $28,939 from other Lions Clubs for Tornado Relief and we have sent $10,000 of that to the Parkersburg Lions Club to be handed out for direct tornado relief. We hope to be able to send some money to New Hartford this week. We are in the process of handing out flood relief vouchers for a total of $2,000 in Cedar Falls/North Cedar that comes from the Lions Foundation. With our Sturgis Falls Pancake Breakfast we have raised about $3,900 that will go towards the North Cedar School Playground, if the costs are not covered by FEMA. Good examples of how….
