PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE (August 6th)

Lionism is all about service to community and mankind. Each and every one of you as Club members contributes to the honorable service Lions provide throughout the world. This thought prompted me to find some inspirational words. Communication can be pretty powerful…………..

LAST MEETING (July 30th)

Steen Hansen and his wife Krystyna joined the club during the July 30^th Lions meeting. Steen is the President and CEO of Bossard Ltd., who have their United States Corporate Headquarters located right here in Cedar Falls. Bossard is a $500 million dollar company that distributes fasteners of all shapes and sizes all over the world. 1695 employees conduct $500 million in business worldwide. 391 employees conduct $150 million in business in the United States. Bossard’s main customers include John Deere, Briggs & Stratton, Honeywell, Emerson, Siemens Transportation and Bompairier Recreation Products. Brossard specializes in Global Procurement of fasteners, Engineering, Consulting and Logistics.
