Amanda Graeber, senior English major at UNI, is the receipient of this year's $1,000 Cedar Falls Lions Club Scholarship.  Amanda developed a strong interest in English Literature as a grade school student at Lincoln School in Cedar Falls.  She is passionate about writing and is planning to continue on to graduate school and to obtain a Doctorate Degree.  Her goal is to eventually teach at the college level.  She is a member of several national honor societies and keeps busy working part  time at UNI-CUE.  She was selected as this year's winner, in part, due to her determination to succeed and a very strong work ethic.
