The UNI Department of Accounting challenges students to become leaders in the accounting profession. That expectation of excellence is most evident in its students' consistent ranking among the top 10 universities in the nation in passing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.
The Department's training and practical experience opportunities, such as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, prepare students for employment in public accounting, the corporate community and in government. Consider how you can put an Accounting Major or Minor to use in a satisfying career. Increased professional expertise is also offered with the Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree.
