We often point to the value of internships and networking opportunities as a way of socializing our undergraduates in the subtle and often complicated reality of business communication.  Getting students to join the conversation is a crucial first step, of course, but not all are in a position to do an internship.  An ELECTRONIC network can offer offer insights into communication in contemporary business as well as develop some important contacts in the chosen field.  This list provides student reviews of groups that range across all majors, industries and career fields; virtually all the students find the interaction with business professionals to be invaluable.  You could make joining a group a course requirement, an extra-credit opportunity, or simply introduce the students to the resources available to professionals in their own field.
