  • Common greeting is a handshake.

  • Women should wear dresses or suits.

  • Men should wear suits and ties.

  • Surnames are used almost always.

  • Before using first names, wait to be invited.

  • Being blunt is considered rude.

Meetings, Presentations, and Negotiation Tactics

  • Negotiation decisions are made in private.

  • Do not be more than five minutes late for a meeting.

  • Do not remove your jacket.

Dinner Etiquette

  • Formal dining manners are required.
