Excellent Presentations

The
eloquent use of PowerPoint in the business world is not at all like the
use of outline slides in an academic lecture. The software might
be the same, but the goals, styles, and technique are quite different.
Don't EVER show up at a client's office with a set of "bullet point"
slides, a template design, or clip art. It's better
to show up without any software at all. Instead, try to look like
one of these...
Al Gore, An Inconvenient Truth. (available on DVD) This was
actually created with Apple software, but it's got all the same
capabilities. Now that every civic group in the country has seen
this example, anything less just looks unprofessional.
History of 20th Century in 3 Minutes This
was also not created with PowerPoint, but directly with Flash
Micromedia. However, there is nothing here that couldn't be done
directly in PowerPoint. (Don't expect any business content here;
this one was just designed as entertainment.)
