The Minimum Requirement

To even be recognized as businesslike, a presentation must meet an audience's expectation of what a businesslike speaker says and does.

This kind of cultural knowledge can be learned on the job--eventually.  A  business student who wants to "hit the ground running" should graduate with a solid understanding of two things:

Some people claim they "can't speak" because of stagefright. This is a normal phase, but one that most people work through by the end of college.   These links give some pointers for those who are still struggling.
