Creating Written Documents
This page provides some basic formats and writing guidelines for the most common business documents: the memo, the letter and the report.
Every business uses written documents to accomplish work, and each organization will have certain forms, regular reports, and standardized formats that employees will learn "on the job." The key to success is to follow the rules and meet the others' expectations regarding format, style, language and content.
