Getting Started to Take the Challenge:
- Select
a team of 3-5 students to participate in
the Challenge
- Complete the teacher registration form online for the Iowa Econchallenge Online!
- Complete
the team coach and student registration forms and return both to the UNI Center for Economic
Education. 2009 registration forms.
- Coaches
will receive a registration packet and schedule prior to the
competition.
- Review
the schedule for the competition.
- Review the rules of the competition.
- Review
the National
Voluntary Standards and Benchmarks for Economics.
- Review
the topic outlines from The College Board's AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics courses.
- The
preliminary rounds of the competition will include individual and team
tests in these areas: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International
Economics, Economic History, and Economic Thought.
