Our mission is to improve the economic and financial literacy among Iowa's
youth. We
share in a national vision that we will have a country of people
who have the knowledge, understanding and skills to make informed
economic choices.
Our goals
through economic education are to prepare students to become:

participants in the global economy
- knowledgeable
consumers
- prudent
savers and investors
- responsible
citizens.
To assist
in achieving these goals, the national network in economic education
develops curriculum material for teachers appropriate for K-12 grade
