UNI Students Continue to Excel on CPA Exam

In 2004 there were landmark changes in the content, format, and procedures for taking the CPA exam. Prior to the changes, UNI had consistently ranked in the top ten schools in the nation for performance of first time candidates on the May exam. The good news is that UNI students continued to perform at the highest level with the new examination.

For the 2004, 2005, and 2006 exams approximately 60% of UNI students who attempted all four parts of the exam within the calendar year they graduated passed all four parts on the first attempt. That is approximately five times greater than comparable national statistics.

Over the years, UNI's accounting program has earned its reputation for academic rigor and hard-working students. We are pleased that our program and students continue to perform at the highest levels in a dynamically changing environment.
