FMA MEETING
There will be a Financial Management Meeting on Wednesday, December 2nd, at 5:00 PM in room CBB 223. The speaker will be Sally Brause from GreatAmerica Leasing Corporation in Cedar Rapids. All are encouraged to attend as she will have a variety of speakers and some great information! We will also be voting for new officers, so come help elect the students that are representing FMA. WIN $5,000 THROUGH BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION
$5000 Business Plan Competition deadline for entry is December 1, 2009. An "Intent to Compete" is due to the UNI John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center in BCS 128 by 5 p.m., December 1. The form can be found on the website at http://www.jpec.org/newven.htm or in BCS 128. Business plans will be submitted to the judges on January 28, 2010. GHANA CAPSTONE REGISTRATION DEADLINE

UNI CBA INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS ESSAY CONTEST
Eligibility: All UNI CBA undergraduates are eligible.

Prizes: Awards of at least $600, $300, and $100 will be given as first, second, and third prices, respectively. In order to receive their awards, winners should attend the Jepson Symposium on the UNI campus in February if all possible.

Topic: Any area of international economics, including trade, finance, immigration, and development.

Paper Format: Papers must be 5 to 15 pages, double-spaced, use a 12-point font and have one-inch margins. The reference list is excluded from the page count.

Submission: All papers must be submitted electronically as an MSWord document attached to an email sent to Professor Ken Brown at Ken.Brown@uni.edu

Deadline for submission: January 25, 2010

Papers originally written as part of a class requirement are eligible.
