Professional Accomplishments
David has worked in the investment business serving private clients and charitable institutions since 1979. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) professional designation.

In addition, he is active with the CFA Institute, the leading global organization for investment professionals. He participates in the worldwide CFA Candidate Examination process in several capacities, serving as an exam grader and a member of the CFA Institute Council of Examiners.

Community Service/Accomplishments
David has served on a number of charitable boards over the years, including the Wartburg College endowment investment committee and the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation advisory board. He recently completed a decade of service as a Director of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, co-chairing its Marketing Committee and serving on its Investment Committee. The Community Foundation provides philanthropic assistance to donors and community endowments primarily in a 20-county area of north-central and northeast Iowa. He is a past president of the Waterloo Rotary Club.
