In 1983, Dave co-founded and is President of Marketing Services, J.W. Morton & Associates, an advertising agency in Cedar Rapids, IA. J.W. Morton & Associates is one of the oldest agencies in Eastern Iowa, serving midwest clients with a comprehensive array of professional marketing services.

Community Service/Accomplishments
Dave serves in various ministries at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. He has served on the Cedar Rapids Advertising Federation Board of Directors, including a term as President; six years on the Board of Directors for the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival, including a term as President; the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; Linn County History Center Board of Directors and one term as President; and Board of Directors - Linn Mar Schools Foundation Board of Trustees.
