Professional Accomplishments
Steven Graves is a managing director and head of mortgage production and servicing for Principal Real Estate Investors, the dedicated real estate group of Principal Global Investors. Steve directs mortgage originations and a mortgage-servicing portfolio that encompasses investment activities in more than 60 metropolitan property markets nationwide. He joined the firm in 1977 and from 1983 to 2000 was responsible for all facets of mortgage originations and underwriting. Steve moved to his current position in 2000.

Community Service/Accomplishments
Steve is a member and past chairman of the University of Northern Iowa Real Estate Education Program Advisory Council, former chairman of the Life Mortgage and Real Estate Officers Council, and presently chair for Commercial Board of Governors (COMBOG) for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
