2005 Graduation Celebration
The CBA saluted its students at the annual Graduation Celebration on April 6, 2005. The Gala, at UNI's Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, featured a light buffet and an awards ceremony along with fine art and entertainment by CBA students. CBA seniors, parents, spouses, friends, faculty, alumni and members of the business community all celebrated another year of excellence. The student entertainers were given monetary prizes based on crowd applause. Each of the fine art presenters were awarded prizes as well.

Entertainment
This year marked the first time entertainment was provided by CBA students. Joe Keil (Freshman, Real Estate) won first place and $1000 with a guitar solo. The $600 second place prize was awarded to Bryan Bergmann (Senior, Business Administration) and his band. Sarah Thompson (Senior, Business Administration) and her partner took third place and $300 with a piano duet. Coming in fourth and also winning $300 was a guitar duet by Kevin Hogan (Senior, Business Administration) and Aaron Berdofe (Senior, MIS).
Four students were selected to display their art. Each received $100. Angela Abruzzese (Junior, Accounting): photographs. Michael Miller (Senior, Business Administration): wooden bowls. James Fisher (Junior, Finance): charcoal drawings. Stephanie Johnson (Junior, Accounting): cross-stitch. The CBA is proud to recognize the many talents of its business students. Congratulations to graduating seniors and the various award winners. Thanks to our Alumni in Residence, the parents, and all others who took the time to applaud another year of student accomplishment.
