Position
A three-year term instructor position in Accounting is available beginning January 2010. Applicants who are seeking a position in a department that values excellence in teaching are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications

  • Master of Accounting or MBA
  • CPA certification (additional professional certification desirable)
  • Recent relevant professional experience in public or private accounting significant in duration and level of responsibility
  • Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pre-employment background checks are required
Salary

Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting    (Printable Version)

Position
Two tenure-track positions as Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting are available August 2010. All areas of teaching and research may apply. Candidates with an interest in teaching Managerial/Cost Accounting or Auditing are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants who are seeking a balance of teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment at UNI. Required Qualifications

  • PhD/DBA from an AACSB accredited institution, ABDs will be considered with evidence of degree completion by August 1, 2010
  • Record of excellence in teaching
  • Demonstrated ability to produce publishable research
  • Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional certification preferred
  • Pre-employment background checks are required
