Position
A three-year term instructor position in Accounting is available beginning January 2010. Applicants who are seeking a position in a department that values excellence in teaching are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications
- Master of Accounting or MBA
- CPA certification (additional professional certification desirable)
- Recent relevant professional experience in public or private accounting significant in duration and level of responsibility
- Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary

Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting

Position
Two tenure-track positions as Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting are available August 2010. All areas of teaching and research may apply. Candidates with an interest in teaching Managerial/Cost Accounting or Auditing are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants who are seeking a balance of teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment at UNI. Required Qualifications
- PhD/DBA from an AACSB accredited institution, ABDs will be considered with evidence of degree completion by August 1, 2010
- Record of excellence in teaching
- Demonstrated ability to produce publishable research
- Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional certification preferred
- Pre-employment background checks are required
