Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance    (Printable Version)

Position
A tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance is available for August 2010. All areas of teaching interest in Finance are encouraged to apply. Applicants who are seeking a balance in teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment at UNI. The Finance Department has a record of excellence in preparing students for the finance profession evidenced by its students’ strong performance on the CFA® exam. It also provides the only Real Estate program in the State and is accredited by the Society of Accredited Real Estate Programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D./D.B.A. in Finance, Real Estate, or related field from a nationally recognized university. ABDs will be considered with evidence of completion of degree by August 1, 2010.
  • Record of excellence in teaching.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach courses in Finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce publishable research in business-related journals.
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business experience in Finance or Real Estate is preferred.
  • Pre-employment background checks are required.
