Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems    (Printable Version)

Position
A tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) is available for August 2010. The successful candidate will primarily teach the Introduction to Information Systems course, an MIS course for non-MIS majors, and will have the expertise to teach at least one advanced course for undergraduate MIS majors. Applicants who are seeking a balance in teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment at UNI. Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Management Information Systems or a related business field from a nationally or internationally-recognized doctoral program.
  • Record of excellence in teaching.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce publishable research in business-related journals.
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business experience preferred.
  • Active participation in appropriate professional associations preferred.
  • Pre-employment background checks are required.
