Professional Accomplishments
Karl Bultsma, Sr. is currently employed as a Senior Engineer at John Deere Waterloo Works in Waterloo. In this position he works with the Product Line Management Team to develop and execute the quality plan for new programs. Karl participates in design review, product definition, and setting specifications. Prior to his position as Senior Engineer, Karl worked in other areas of John Deere Waterloo Works including transaxle assembly, gear and special products quality engineering, manual shift transmission engineering and drivetrain quality engineering. Karl has developed or taught numerous training courses and has participated in approximately thirteen conference presentations. He is an American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, and Certified Quality Improvement Associate.
