Professional Accomplishments
Michael Farrell is currently the Senior Vice President/CFO of Community National Bancorporation in Waterloo. In this position, he initially served on the new venture team to establish the holding company and the Iowa bank. In addition, Michael established the data processing and accounting systems for the corporation and assisted with building construction decisions, capital fundraising, personnel selection, systems designs, regulatory matters and policy writing. His most recent responsibility within the corporation was consolidating financial statements, borrowing and cash flow activities for the parent company. Prior to his employment with Community National Bancorporation, Michael held positions at Community National Bank in Waterloo/Cedar Falls as Executive Vice President/CFO, First Iowa State Bank as Vice President/Cashier and Bank Board Member, and American Red Cross Hawkeye Chapter as Administrator of financial services/systems management.
