G. Carl Schweser Financial Analysis Professorship
In 1998, Dr. G. Carl Schweser, a leader in the development of CFA instruction materials, established a fund to support professional development in financial analysis at UNI. He gave generously to the CBA's financial analysis programs, providing expertise, instruction materials and financial support. In 2004, Dr. G. Carl Schweser with matching grants from several other donors, including US Bank, provided a creation of a Professorship, which was named in honor. The challenge gift from G. carl Schweser was the impetus for a fund to support Finance students who are willing to earn a Chartered Financial Analysis designation as undergraduates.

Also, in 2004, U.S. Bank announced a major commitment to support a financial analysis education program at UNI. The seminars assist UNI students in preparing for the Chartered Financial Analyst designation exams.
Dr. Mir Zaman was introduced as the G. Carl Schweser Professor in Financial Analysis at the Graduation Celebration in the year 2005.The passionate leadership of Professor Mir Zaman, coupled with the generous support of Dr. G. crl Schweser, US Bank and other contributors, has helped to develop a cadre of dedicated students. He supported the Financial Analysis program since it began.
