Bring your enthusiasm for business into the classroom by becoming a teacher. Create future business leaders with effective teaching strategies learned through CBA-supported programs and teaching licensure courses.
Center for Economic Education
The Center for Economic Education is part of a national program that supplies K-12 teachers with educational support to improve economics education in their classrooms.
Expanded Career Option in Secondary Teacher Licensure
Bring business concepts to middle and senior high school students by earning a Secondary Education License. Business majors can be certified to teach three subjects: Business-General, Business-Office, Business-Marketing/Management.
Business Education Program Community Involvement
Business Education students are engaged in their fields both inside and outside the classroom. As such, they provide a resource to the local community. For example, Business Education students have judged regional high school student organization competitions, taught keyboarding at Waterloo's Black Hawk Elementary, and taught Junior Achievement units in local schools.
