At the University of Northern Iowa, we recognize that employers need to connect with students and alumni. At the same time, students want opportunities to explore and meet with a variety of employers. The College's Student Advising and Career Services offices, in partnership with UNI Academic Student Advising and Career Services, provide opportunities for employers to identify qualified candidates from all majors and disciplines. We work to meet each organization’s unique needs through the programs, resources and services we offer.

As the Career Services advisor for business students, I assist in a variety of services to help students and alumni decide on a career direction, locate career information, and identify and find ways to develop needed skills for their professional lives. In addition, the employer connections I can provide allow students to network, find internships and cooperative education opportunities and begin their careers.
