Are you working on a degree, yet you feel ready to own and operate your own business? The UNI John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (JPEC) offers the Student Business Incubator to new student entrepreneurs. Students participating in this program will receive office space, equipment, and expert advice from JPEC staff.

Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) Business Enhancement Scholarships
Learn about building a new business and receive a stipend through the CIPCO Business Enhancement Scholarship program at UNI's John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center. An internship with a small business, a new venture or the CBA's Business and Community Services outreach program provides direct, hands-on opportunities to observe the new business process while being paid and receiving course credit. The internships are limited to Iowa-based companies with special attention to those in the Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) service territory. JPEC Student Entrepreneur of the Year

Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition
University and college students from across Iowa compete for three awards for start-up capital presented at the Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition. The top three business plans each receive $5,000.

Iowa Venture Capital Conference
