Minors and Certificate Programs

Consider enhancing your major with an international minor, certificate, and/or professional certification. As the world gets smaller, employers need business professionals with the ability to operate in a diverse cultural and language environment. These challenging programs will help you develop the skills necessary to operate in today’s global economy.

Minors

UNIBusiness is pleased to offer two minors in International Business for both business and non-business majors. Business majors should note how their required major courses can be used toward the minor. Non-business majors should note how this major builds upon the general business minor to focus on international business.

Certificate in International Business, Culture, and Language

The Certificate in International Business, Culture, and Language encourages students to seek language and cultural knowledge as a foundation for understanding the global environment in which business operates. The certificate is available to business majors and general business concepts minors. Click here for more detailed information.

Professional Certification

UNIBusiness is pleased to offer the course Global Trade Practices which helps prepare students for the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) examination. Earning this profesional certification demonstrates an individual's ability to conduct business globally. For candidates experienced in international trade, the certification confirms that knowledge. For candidates just beginning, it establishes a professional development goal to ensure a full understanding of the profession. For companies, it assures that employees are able to practice global business at the professional level required in today's competitive environment. www.nasbite.org.

UNIBusiness is a test site for the CGBP exam in September and early February.
