Intermediate Macroeconomics Quick Start

1.     Buy the textbook.  It is:  Macroeconomics Sixth Edition by Andrew B. Abel and Ben S. Bernanke.

2.     Buy the study guide.  It’s a good study guide and I take some questions (or slight variations) out of it for the exams.

3.     Read the syllabus and other handouts.  They have a lot of useful information.  Reading them now will make your life a lot easier.

4.     Go to my website at www.cba.uni.edu/kanago/.  Once there go to the Intermediate Macro page.  Be sure to look at the current events links.  There will be a question or two on each exam about articles from the current events links.

5.     If you feel that your math background is weak, read Appendix A in the text and let me know.
